I am a passionate web designer and digital art director, with a deep interest in digital and social media culture.
I have a creative nature. I have always liked writing, drawing and building things by myself, but I thought this part of me would be used just for my hobbies. So I got a degree in Philosophy at Milan University, thinking of myself as a future teacher.
But during my studies I met Esthetics, and I realized I had a great fascination for all that's visual, and above all for digital graphics. So I decided to deepen my knowledge of these fields taking a Specialistic degree (the italian equivalent of a two-years MBA) in Digital Communication at the University of Turin, where I studied Web design, Advertising, U-M interaction and other subjects that brought me in the direction of what I do nowadays.
I firmly believe that Philosophy is my great resource, making me a good designer: it gave me both the methodic approach to problem solving and the creative thinking. It also gave me a scientific knowledge of visual esthetics to understand what stands at the basis of human pleasure.
I think that these aspects, combined with a big dose of creativity, are vital aspects if you want to engage people with your communication.
During the last few years I've been working in an ADV Agency, the perfect place to combine the logic aspects to the creative ones. Here I like to be deeply involved in any phase of a creative project: concept building, creative idea development, visual and user-interface design. I also pay a great attention to graphics and esthetics.
I love my job. It provides me new challenges every day, especially in a digital world in continuous development. It allows me to express my creativity and being always up to date on new technologies and media cultures.
And it amuses me, too.
